-Reason for bid
I have been wanting a western pleasure arab for a long time now but couldnt find the right one. =Ehetere has been tempting me with lots of pretty arabians for awhile now, so when i saw she was having a yearling auction i KNEW i'd have to try for one of these lovelies and found the perfect fit in this gorgoues young man. He fits to our stable perfectly. With his sabino colorings and calm and willing personality. It is finally time to bring these gracious creatures into our pastures XD

-Story
After a successful breeding with Willowglen's Sha Sabbah* , resulting in a beautiful little bay sabino colt Cat decided it was time to get another arabian. She saw the Willowglen was holding a yearling auction. After have a browse of all the horses she knew that the best fit would be Shujaa' Ibn Inshalla. She had consultet the owner of Willowglen who also said that this gorgeous colt would be suitable for anything. Cat had been wanting to get a few western pleasure arabians but could never find the right horse. Now she knew she had found him.
This colt had a gorgeous build and striking color. He would glow in the show ring.
His sire was a well known and succesful Stud, winning many shows and producing many beautiful offspring. And although his Dam was unknown of in the show ring she made up for it in beauty and personality.
Cat knew that with this colt she could go far, and on the way prove that arabians can compete with the stock horses in the western pleasure scene.
The team took the day off to take a trip to Willowglen to have a look at the yearlings in the flesh but Cat already knew which horse she wanted. And she'd do anything to get him!
(this part of the story is as if we have won him)
The team where early so they found seats near the arena where the yearlings would be lead and shown. After reserving their chairs they took a small tour of the stable grounds and where impressed by the amount of elegant horses they had. Cat also saw a few Ballovalis which she had also been showing some intrest in and now wanted one even more!
She looked at the names on the horses stables and found Shujaa's Sire. She inspected him as he peacfully munched on his hay and looked at her intrested. He was beautiful, well built and strong. She knew if he was anything like his sire he was going to be a head turner.
"Five minutes until the auction beginns" A loud voice said over the intercom.
They made their way back to their seats and waited for the yearlings to enter the arena. They came in one at a time. The announcer said a few words about the yearling and their pedigree, what personality they had and which disciplines they would be suited for.
As the time came that Shujaa finally entered Cat stood up to take a closer look. The Colt walked with his head high and his tail swishing back and forth but he pranced along calmly. The announcer, the people , the brightlights ... nothing bothered him. As they walked by Cat he looked her straight in the eye and she knew ... she was in love. She wanted ... no ... she NEEDED this colt.
There was a short break for the other guests to consider who they would bid for but Cat knew who she wanted.
The first 5 horses sold for high prices. Cat was nervous she wasnt sure she wanted to give out THAT much for a yearling but she wanted him so badly.
The announcer called out his number and started calling out prices. Signs went up left and right , Cats included. The price was rising fast but Cat didnt give up. Eventually less signs started going up when there were only two left. The price went up and up but Cat kept bidding when suddenly " going once.....going twice.....SOLD to the number 35!"
Cat double checked and looked at her sign seeing a big black 35 on it. She jumped up and down like a little girl getting her first pony. The other guests looked at her with a look of slight embaresment on their face so she straightend her clothes and sat down with a big grin on her face.
The auction was over and she hurried to get the truck with the trailer to pick up her gorgeous arabian colt.
He walked up the ramp with no issues and started eating the hay they had prepared for him.
He was finally on his way to his new home Blossom Hill Stables.

Sorry about the spelling XD
